Rocky River Elementary is off to a strong start for our first school year. Our Rocky River PTA has planned an exciting year of family friendly events centered on creating a sense of community in our new school. We’re also helping to promote literacy, education, and safety for all of our children.

If you are looking at our website we’d love for you to contribute to our PTA. Please consider making a donation to our Take Stock in the Rock campaign. Our goal is to raise the funds needed to purchase a lighted marquee reader board sign for our school’s front entrance on Rocky River Road.

The PTA would also like to extend a personal invitation for every parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, other extended family, and community members to volunteer in our school. By virtue of knowing a child enrolled at Rocky River Elementary, we are all family. If each of us takes the time to do one thing at the school, to spend one hour of our time volunteering at a PTA function, or to help serve on a committee, we can make our school the premier elementary school in Union County. Opportunities exist for everyone to get involved. It is a great way to get to know other parents, and it is a wonderful way to show our children that education, our school, and our community matter.

The PTA Executive Board which consists of the elected officers, the standing committee chairpersons, and the principal meet on the 3rd Monday of every month to discuss PTA business. New parents are always welcome to attend.
